For once Mel didn't press the panic button and sack him, kept with him and we go into the playoffs in good heart, don't think we'll do it but at least we battled to get in them.

Rowett will be here next season regardless, he's obviously liked at the club and Mel is probably thinking Rowett is long term not a short term appointment (like Warnock at Cardiff who will no doubt get the push within 6 months now they're up). I had doubts about Rowett after that shambolic Burton performance, but we've bounced back.
