Thought Danny Graham was always unlucky MA...really put in a shift...another who seemed to do okay anywhere but Derby. Why does that happen so often?

Not least popular, but one of the most frustrating: NIGEL CALLAGHAN.

I quote from a Watford fan site, but the message could easily come from Derby

'...But he never completely won over the fans. Their loudly-voiced frustration with his apparently lazy play was surely a contributory factor in his ultimately disappointing career. With a bit more understanding from the supporters and with a bit more dedication from the player himself, he could have become an England legend. Instead he turns up on a Channel 4's late night "Sun, Sea and ***" programme trying to impress by putting a condom on his head.

You were better than that Nigel, a lot better.'

Connor Sammon was just as bad as Conor Doyle and Gary Teale was not that bad and was quite good at Derby, a good little asset if you will.

Not sure if it's just me Spudnik but I've noticed an element of sensibility creeping in to some of your posts in the past 48hrs as well as a noticeable comprehension of the English language.

Now it might be that you have sat an exam in the past 2 days or more likely you have been posting drivel as a ghost writer for another person.

    Please do tell.....

Not just you Manx. He/she has been sensible and eloquent (A well meant compliment). I hope this continues.

I think eloquent is perhaps overstating things, but an improvement, yes. keep it up, Spunky

We obviously have a different interpretation of ‘quite good’...to my mind Gary Teale was absolute dross, but each to their own. You must have seen something in him that I missed and that’s the beauty of opinions and forums.

Surprised no one has mentioned Tyrone Mears yet. Not very good and seriously disloyal as far as I remember.

As for all players they have their bright spark and then they have their dross moments and we have experienced quite a lot of them at Derby.
