The St Johnstone chairman hates United, not Tommy Wright. He accepted the United job at one point but was given an offer he couldn't refuse by St Johnstone.

Nope. Wright was never, ever taking the United job at that point. He used the situation to get an improved offer (still considerably less than what United would have paid him) and that was all there was to it. He can not stand United at any level. It would take an unbelievable financial offer for him to consider coming to Tannadice. It was never on the cards then and exceptionally unlikely now. The only thing that would perhaps go in our favour now, is if the whole takeover thing is true and a new board was in place.

He doesn't get on with Steve Brown as he did with Geoff but there is still some respect. He has no respect for the hierarchy at Tannadice.

I had heard (rumour mill only) that Wright was interviewed for the United Manager's job before Ray but didn't like the divisive relationship between Baldy and Justine.

Where are we finding the cash to sack Csaba and the staff and then bring Wright and his staff in?
