    Brilliantly staged as usual. It looked absolutely spectacular - and the weather played a big part.

    And with a global audience of 1.9 billion I reckon that it will result it £££ of revenue for the UK from extra tourism etc.

    Congrats to all involved.

    Exactly 59/60... The Royals bring billions into the country's economy via tourism and sales of merchandise..

    It cost the taxpayer £30million just to pay for the wedding.

    It is reckoned, extra government supplied security is another £100 million down the drain...

    Its all relative.

    The Brexit referendum and subsequent billions to pay when we finally leave Europe is a bit of a waste so to show-off Britain and showcase the Royals to th world is priceless.

    At least the country will see a return on its investment whilst Brexit just gets us to retain our sovereign powers.

    All that time, effort and money to retain what we should have.

    Now that's a real waste.

    You are totally correct blueheeler1, everything is indeed relative. £30 million cost to the British taxpayer on the Royal wedding malarkey, while we incarcerate people for being poor...
