Just so we as a nation can begin to think for ourselves again.

My fear is that the current crop of politicians and parties aren't up to the job of taking advantage of the many opportu ities that lie outside the EU zone in the big wide world. They are feckless, spineless, career politician tools who care more about spin and how they look for the cameras while the real decisions are taken elsewhere by unelected shadows in Brussels. Too many rules and red tape.

You didn't see the Victorians reading 100s of pages of EU directives on the trading of parsnips or being afraid to be decisive and take chances for the greater good. They had balls as did many others in our history who helped make Britain great.

Lets not forget in 1945 many of these countries were lying in ruins, broken while we still stood. How the fk did things come to this less than 75 years later - being essentially an obedient outpost of the German Empire that we helped rebuild.
