Spuds have allegedly made contact and are willing to cough up £45 million for him.

I think if £30 million got Ashley thinking, £45 million will give him pound signs in the eye.

But I thought all transfer business was now in the hands of Rafa

Surely Fatty won’t step in and sell him on the chucky at £6 million a year. Hopefully all transfers will be in cash now giving us some funds

45 million is about the same figure Spurs want as compensation for losing Pochettino.....

I think we could get more.

OT. just finished watching One Night In Turin. Good watch and shows how the memory can deceive. The impression I have of that England side in my mind is one of style and skill....and it was, but more than that, all those games throughout that tournament they showed mainly spine and steel to progress with tight results. Its the elements that have been missing ever since then. Also Sir Bob changed it up tacticslly and went with a sweeper for some of those games- something not done before. Balls to take a chance and make a change when needed, "horses for courses" as he put it. The man was a class act.

Based on just his abilities as a centre back I would snatch the hand off anyone offering £45 million.

That is not the end of the story though,he is a team leader in the dressing room and on the pitch and his attitude is first class, you can't put a price on that.

I'm past worrying about who will or won't be sold.
Football moves on regardless of who goes as surplus or who goes as potential statue material of the future.

Basically there's nothing we can do other than do what we always have done... and will do, whilst we have a club.

Just support every tenant within it whether we have a lascelles or a Freddie Bloggs from the youth team.

Sure it moves on, but those sales have a direct influence on how the team moves on, and so does incoming transfers. So "worrying" about that is only natural and makes perfect sense.
