Cost you about £3m mate , two or three of the bigger championship clubs are sniffing so we could possibly achieve a bit more .
The thing is he's not as good as his partner Ethan Pinnock , had his share of injuries last season so he's still under the radar .
With the new German coach coming in and his high energy counter press system we are wondering if Kieffer will be up to it and I personally feel he might not be quite what the new coach is looking for .
My question is this , given you are now back in the championship would you take him ?

He wont go for anywhere near that animal and you know it lol.
I wouldn't have Kieffer back right now as he still needs a couple of years coaching but after that id have him like a shot. The funny thing is he would be fantastic for you in League 1 because he isn't as slow as he might look and he would be better than you think on the counter.
I'm not saying Lindsay is the next big thing but he's a young player capable of playing in the championship .
That's the price these days , he's near enough at the same level as Marc Roberts who went to Birmingham for £3.5m , if Roberts was 8 out of 10 then Liam is at 7 .
You also have to factor in he's two years left on his current contract and we aren't in a position financially where we are looking to off load players .
I reckon he will probably leave the club this summer but my club won't accept anything other than top dollar because the cards are firmly in our hands with Lindsay and we know the bigger clubs are sniffing .
You also have to bear in mind he's going to want at least 12 to 15k a week because of the fee we will accept , Marc Roberts is on £20k a week just for comparison .
It's crackers mate but that's how it is these days .
The key with Rotherham is to sign Lindsay for £300k from Partick Thistle as we did .
One of the things you'll find animal is that now you're in league 1 the value of your players will plummet. Its ridiculous because theyre the same players as they were a couple of months ago but there is a real snobbery in the transfer market whereby championship and premier league players are worth millions but lower league players are worth peanuts (despite some being real diamonds).
You're in for a rude awakening if you think youll sell a league 1 player for £3m these days. It's crap but its just another example of how the "haves" look down on the "have nots".
Not always - Jack Marriott will go for a hefty sum
Difference there saw is (a) he's a striker whos scored for fun, and (b) barry fry has some bizarre skill of hoodwinking the world into thinking his players are tye next pele.
Oh, and throw old Stevie into the propaganda mix.
Barnsleys league 1 CH will not go for £3m. But my point is more about the snobbery not the standard of players. I personally think there are some great young players in the lower leagues. But then, im not a football snob.
I have to choose 3.
Troy Archibald Henville
Jack Baldwin
Nicky Law
Looking in Ligue Un might actually be worth a try... although after "joueurs de football" like Stephane Lemarchand, and the possibly even more obscure Cedric Bolma, don't get your hopes too high. Even King Ronnie didn't always get things right . We DID get promoted that season though!
