And before all the happy flappers pile in with "it's all confidential", or any other platitude, fine. But if you're going to sack a manager do so when you have succession sorted out, kind of indicates you know WHAT THE F00K YOU ARE DOING!
We sack the manager, when it's the owners abdication of responsibility for transfer decision making to an abject failure of a Director of Football that is at the heart of our problems.
We are "rumoured" to be in negotiations with everyone from a returning Hockaday to the second coming of Christ (or so the "meedja" would have us believe), and there is about 8 weeks left to make changes that are fundamental to the club's future.
Talk about fiddling while Rome burns.
F00king DO SOMETHING, board of Directors, directing f00k all
And before all the happy flappers pile in with "it's all confidential", or any other platitude, fine. But if you're going to sack a manager do so when you have succession sorted out, kind of indicates you know WHAT THE F00K YOU ARE DOING!
Providing a manager is in place by end of next week I don't really see the issue. Very rare much business is done this early for any club other than the odd few signings here and there. Think we want 3/4 (be nice if it was Hernandez, Bartley, a GK and a winger) players and a manager in by end of month + 3/4 off the wage bill either on a season loan like Sacko, Antonsson, Cibicki and Wiedwald the first two who I believe will easily get interest in them from a lower championship or league one side.
The world cup messes and delays much... lol lol lol ... where is that fanny?
Fair comment about world Cup slowing up the process
Simply put, if we have either stockdale or Carson, Bartley or helander, hernandez or vydra, howson or gunnarsson, hoilett or gradel, Bielsa or McCarthy, then I'm happy
We appointed Monk on the 2nd June and TC the following year on the 15th June.
As has been said already i dont really see an issue if the its done by end of the week.
