But...apparently his approval rating is soaring. There is a danger that he may actually stifle "fake news" outlets, and only allow Fox, Brietbart and similar companies to broadcast.

Sinkov, while I agree with you that the many issues around why migrants from Africa, the Middle East and Central America decide to up sticks and find a safe haven is a crucial issue, you are using it to deflect from the issue of the response of Donald Trump.

If you wish to debate the challenges of the Palestinians, Syrians, Yemen, Congolese etc etc then I'm up for that. But this issue is about the behavior of the most powerful nation on earth, the "land of the free", a beacon of hope around the world. If Britain adopted this scheme would you be happy? Is it just that your hero Donald Trump is doing it that makes you reluctant to find fault with it?

Will you, at least on this issue, actually come out and condemn his actions? He used the word "infest" to describe migrants. 59/60, I have not defended Trump or US Immigration policy on this issue, I'm just highly suspicious of the motives of those who are raising the issue for the reasons I've previously explained. The BBC give the game away at the end of their piece, they ask for people to get in touch with them if they have any stories to tell about their problems with US immigration.

So what they are in effect saying to these people is, we're not interested in the reasons you've fled your home country, the persecution and abuse you and your family have suffered, the suffering of your family and friends who you've left behind, we're not interested in any of that, or doing anything about it, just give us another stick to beat the Donald with.

They are using these poor people as a political football. Despicable.
