Good point - maybe the doctors/medical staff looking at the player should be neutral so it doesn't become a tactical ploy? That way they could quickly assess whether or not the player needs treatment, and either send him back on or make the substitution permanent.
Can’t see neutral doctors attending every game we can’t even get enough to staff the NHS
