Its quite possible I'm at the not caring stage now! If they dont care which milne definetly doesn't then f•ck it nor do i!
Considering how critical the manager was of his transfer dealings in the last few windows (partly down to him flirting with Sunderland and the Huns), us finishing the season on a relative high, and the club hoovering up DNA cash, I was looking forward to the summers transfer movements.
If you include Tansey (probably away) and now Rodgers, that's 12 players who have left. The vast majority of those players were first 16 picks. Only signing 3 replacements at this stage is miles wide of my expectations.
Despite some signs of intent (mcgeouch, naismith, marquis) it is starting to feel like we have skipped plans B, C, D etc and have moved straight to barrel scraping (Nowak).
I'm nae quite at the pant p1shing stage yet. But there is definitely signs of incontinence brewing.

Also i have made the decision not to go to the first leg! Or hun game for that matter
Getting to the worrying stage now even for those of us who are normally a little more realistic and measured in our response to things!
I was hoping we'd get a couple of players in this week but it seems unlikely now. I would guess this Nowak guy won't sign in the end, if he is as dire as everyone is saying he will show that over the week or so he's here on trial and there'll be no deal at the end of it.
Loan signings don't normally come until nearer the end of the window when the English sides have sorted out their squads, but I do think we should be 2 or 3 signings further ahead than where we are currently. The fact McInnes will now have to source another keeper as well who will inevitably sit on the bench all season, is a further distraction from strengthening the areas of the squad where we are weak and threadbare.
I wonder whether we might go back in for the likes of Christie, Ball, Stewart etc who have been here before. If we're not ready for the start of the season and lose the first 3 games it will potentially set the tone for the whole season which is an even bigger concern.
Ball definitely wants to continue playing in England, Celtic won’t surely loan out Christie to us again as he has already been loaned out to us for 1 and a half seasons. Stewart would be the only 1 McInnes has a chance with but we need a better Greg Stewart than what we got last season.
I'm not so sure about the first three games setting the tone.
The first two against Burnley, they have a much higher value squad, are more settled and I'm sure most people realistically doubt we will progress.
You never know in cup competitions though.
Then the season opener with SevCo.
Sure its a very important game and a difficult challenge with the Stevie G messiah effect and their much higher value signings.
I expect it to be a tough game and realistically could go either way.
So at worst case, if we get beat, the season would kick start with two away games to Dundee and Hibs.
If we fail to win our first 5 or 6 league games, then that would be setting a tone.
No doubt though, some will be sharpening the stick, dipping it in sh!t and have sweaty hands in anticipation of losing to Burnley and SevCo
I’m struggling to get excited about the Burnley games, seeing as they’re f*cking Burnley.
The big game is against the Huns. We better be ready for it & up for it. I ‘trust’ our wonderful manager will have everything in place. No excuses
