Nobody should expect corbyn or McDonald to step up to the plate . Anyone with knowledge of their views would have known that their Marxist views were completely at odds with support of a federalist overly bureaucratic organisation regardless of the economic benefits of remaining a member.
I blame him almost as much for the debacle of brexit as Cameron. He clearly was not remotely interested in putting a proper coherent anti brexit strategy despite that being the policy of the party he had been elected to lead. We have the worst government in living memory and still Labour struggles to make any kind of impact .

Nothing would surprise me about Trump, so it could be real. But wouldn't we have seen it by now if it existed?

Ach, personality identity politics - stuff that.

In the 2017 GE, there was only one manifesto in town, and at last I was able to vote for something I wanted, rather than voting tactically for one careerist ****ehouse over another, going for the least-worst option.

I had no trouble selecting socialism over pretendy radical "progressive" manifestoes, by makky-on left of centre parties reluctant to scare the cuddies by proclaiming 'socialist' policies.

Progressive is King Crimson, Yes and Greenslade.

No saviour from on high deliver.

Im not saying i disagree with some of Corbyns domestic policies. Unfortunately, his position on brexit created a perfect 'sh it ' storm at the time of the referendum if like me you were against leaving.
Jacob Rees -Mogg , Boris Johnson , David Davis , Michael Gove, Liam Fox ffs ! I feel a Mclashan type rant coming on even though 2 of them are Scottish.
