For me Tommy Wright, doesn't seem as happy at St Johnstone as he one was either
Ellis done well last season when he was caretaker so think deserves maybe another shot to prove it wasnt a 1 off.
i dont think many people would agree on who next manager should be (if CL left) but we would all agree in 1 thing....... the names mentioned the most on here (McCall, McIntrye,Neilson or Hopkins) are all Miles ahead of CL and would have us in a better position to challenge.
for me it has to be McCall and with ST gone he might consider it

Yes. Ellis or McCall for me
This is from the Alloa website today after the game:

Jim Goodwin after winning Penalty shoot out against Dundee United
I was really pleased with the overall performance, there was a spell after about twenty minutes of the first half I felt Dundee United were on top and they were on top for about ten minutes in that spell and they looked dangerous, but over the whole piece I thought the game plan was brilliant the boys carried it out to the letter, pressing them high, we knew they wanted to play out from the back, we went and locked on and caused them to make mistakes and kick the ball out the park and it eventually they started after ten minutes going long from their goalkeeper and played into our hands to be honest with Zac and Andy going to compete with Nicky Clark and compete for second balls.

We have no chance of competing anywhere near the top end of the league all other teams can clearly see how tactically inept we are. The only person who can't see it is our own manager. Was willing to give him first couple of months of this season but now he just has to go. Can't see any wins coming while he still in charge
“Let’s keep McNamara/mixu/McKinnon/Laszlo they need at least another 2 transfer windows” those fans legitimise the ****e decisions that Thompson and Martin make .
Its shouldnt even be a question. The clown should be gone by now. Tommy Wright.
Absolutely yes, he should have gone the minute the final whistle blew and we went out of the playoff.
Unfortunately due to MM's call to publicly back him as part of a new club strategy I reckon we will have him as manager for at least the first quarter of the season.
If MM was to punt him now what kind of working relationship could any future manager have with a club that says one thing and does another before the league campaign even kicks off?
Best we can hope for is he quits, not likely.
Shabba, Southern & Rice should be given P45s. Root and branch, the United Way. Not rewarding failure.
Get these three away, then maybe the brand will have a chance.
A big YES from me.
