Considering he was signed for a reported £250,000 not that long ago - £10m is just eye-watering. I don't think he'll go for anywhere near that but perhaps Ipswich are playing hardball so they can keep hold. Originally Posted by Carpe_diem

I wouldn't be surprised. Nor would I rule him out based on age; Shipps was magnificent for us at the near end of his career. He had a decent season for Derby last year and the in laws praised his commitment too. One goal in five isn't great, but if Tufty thinks he'd work, I'd trust his judgement.
