Perez. Without a shadow of a doubt. He was utter shoite. He was poking in some decent goals and being a nuisance last term, improving as the going got tough.
Gayle has gone backwards IMHO.

Seems there are a few to pick from

funny as i thinks lascelles has hit a glass ceiling under rafa
perez was a decnt player when he came just played out of position and was good for about a third of the season
shelvey
a supposed england international before rafa came
drifted in and out of games far to much last season and if you remeber a lot of us agreed his tracking back etc was shocking
atsu showed when allowed to attack what he could do wasnt let of the leash enough for me
dummet
again when we played defensive and he only had to mark the player in front and not think about attacking looked average
diame done a lot to improve dummets game last season and shelveys for that
diame without doubt
he made a lot of players look good last season
but still drifeted in and out to much
Lascelles hit a glass ceiling under Rafa.Absolute classic. He wasn't getting a game here before Rafa came.
people need to look at lascelles stats
shocking really
only been involved in 12 clean sheets in the prem
51 appearances
53 goals scored against while he is playing
doesnt creat any or many chances
more losses than wins
never assisted in a goal
only slightly more than a 50% record in winning tackles
only a couple of crosses and none of those got to the destination
amazing for a defender some think should be playing at a higher level
not even in coolos league

Put the site up where you got them stats from.Would like to have a look.
The team lost 8 and drew 1 of the 9 games he MISSED last season.
His stats are clouded from the games he played in a relegated team alongside collo
It's standard Pboro - if he can have a dig at some aspect of the club he will do.
For me it's Perez that has improved the most, followed by Lascelles and then Shelvey.
Whilst Diame massively improved on the start of the season, that player was always there we just hadn't seen it. For an overall i'm taking into account Championship as well.
As others have said though, there are many that can be seen to have been improved by Rafa.
