Not sure he did fail a medical

This indicates player didn't fancy it and decided to keep his options open

It sounds like such a well known player with dreadlocks that even a relatively unknown Ben Woodburn is better known than him

Don't see the point in bringing in the coin of we refuse to pay the wages we need to get better players. Might as well stick with what we've got

I'm afraid we are going to have to get used to this leading up to the window closing. Why no-one has been in for Fleck is puzzling but good from our perspective.

Not sure of the real reason why we sold Brooks. I tend to believe that we needed the money to keep the Club afloat and CW sanctioned this on promise of improved funds. Don't buy the view he was allowed to leave because he wanted to go. If we did let him go because he asked to then that opens the floodgates when a premiership club comes calling.

If any other player asks to go then we need to value him at todays market rates and not cave in on the second/ third bid. JOC is in the £12 million plus bracket. He is unique in that he is an English attacking LCB and there aren't that many around.

I don't see JOC going to BHA unless they are offering ridiculous wages. His personal circumstances with his partner dictate its more likely to be a Club up north.

If we are after Bryan from Man City I don't see him as a JOC replacement. More a loan who can provided much needed cover at LCB. If its true he's failed a med at Rangers then why would we be paying a permanent fee for him.

    An interesting week coming up.

Could be a great signing this left footed centre back who can also play left back. Seems to be rated and a great prospect. I would take this over a David Nugent end of career type any day. Add a permanent striker and it will have been a good window. JOC has gone nowhere yet so let’s not reach for the cyanide just yet.
