Correct. Tommy Robinson entered a guilty plea and his defence lawyer claimed that his client had "deep regret" for what he had done. That hardly seems like the sort of persecution some are claiming. Surely a principled bloke like good old Tommy wouldn't kiss the arse of the judicial system just to get a lighter sentence? He has raised some very valid points such as the scandalous covering up by the authorities of the Muslim grooming gangs, but that still doesn't make him worthy of the worship he receives from a few on here. While I agree that some of the issues he raises need raising, seeing the likes of him with his history as the solution is way off target.
