League clubs don't make money for their owners and very few break even. Nearly all clubs are reliant on the largesse of their owners to survive.

Barnsley aren't a special case. They depended on Cryne. Yes, the club has enjoyed a degree of success in the transfer market in recent years, but it is unlikely that can be sustained.

I understand enough to know we've funded bar one stand the redevelopment of Oakwell , training ground , brand new academy and indoor complex before anyone knew who Cryne was .

I know enough that without Tony Stewart RUFC would still be playing league two football at a running track in Sheffield , a level we haven't played at for 40 years .

£33m and he hasn't seen a penny back V £9m in 14 years , paid back plus a return on investment .

Actually by comparison we are a special case and given your stance on prudence and self financial discipline you should be congratulating us as a shining light and a model club .
