Firstly, it's just ONE game. It might be a sign of things to come or it might not - we don't know yet. I doubt Stoke fans have written their team off after 90 minutes.
Secondly, money isn't the answer for us. We could double the budget and still be the poor relations. In my view, we have to play a different game. We have to make ourselves difficult to play against and hard to beat. Try to play Brentfords game (or many other teams in the league) and we'll still come up short, even with more money to spend. Warnock had the right idea when he was here. The difficulty is that it's not how Warne wants to play. Hopefully he'll start putting results before principles.
