Where were the pre match flags ?

Thought Semi was MoM
Woody didn't do a lot wrong and Vassel continues to impress plus Rodak kept us in it with a couple of decent stops including a double

First match for MiniBentleyMiller15 must bring him again !

No flags maybe down to weather, they won’t last long if wet and not dried correctly

The match? Well 3 well deserved points, a clean sheet, a wound to one of the teams expected to struggle like us.

Vassel played his role well and a mention for Manning who was exceptional in the first half but tired second half and nearly scored with a great effort just over looks a great asset another couple of players needed though

Listened to match on Radio Sheffield (Rob Staton and Ronnie Moore )
Didn't sound very pretty, particularly in the first half both sides playing hoof ball.
Got the goal, and then sounded on top.
Second half, heard Smithy, missed a sitter, and worried we might pay for that, but held out reasonably comfortably in the end.
Ronnie was going on about the need for more possession, which fits in with the need to strengthen central midfield.
My impression from the radio seems to generally tally with what the posts on here are saying.

Great and fully deserved result, against a team who look like they could be around us all season on that display. Thought Williams and Vasell worked their socks off up and down the flanks, helping the full backs out defensively, and then flying back up the wing to attack, what the f**k has warnie been feeding em?
Ajayi (our international) was dominant both on the floor and in the air, and our back 4, although we had a couple of heartstopping moments , were generally in control. Manning looks a great acquisition, and whilst Vaulks wasn't brilliant, he still put a shift in, and it was his cross we scored from.
Big Smithy up front is a handful for any centre half, and I thought it was a great battle with him and cooper, their number 5. All in all this display shows that ALL our players have to turn up in ALL our matches, man for man we are the worst team in this division, but COLLECTIVELY ,we can more than ruffle a few feathers.
I would love to have Jed Wallace, their number 7 ,in our CM thought he was their best player by a mile today.
