    On the train from Central station to the Scotland v England fixture at Hampden in 82, Scottish fans were singing, to the melody of Drunken Sailor, "What shall we do with the Argentinians?" to which the tag line was "Bomb bomb bomb the baastards". Huns are not known for their support of the national side. Jingoism, at the time, was more prevalent than you might think, and one had to watch what one said in some circumstances.

    You really need to look up fascist in the dictionary if you think Thatcher was one.

    It was her government you were taliking about, so I don't see a difference.

    Anyway by throwing the word fascism around, you are trivialising the horror of real fascism and the millions of people slaughtered by Hitler.
