I agree about Norwood over Coutts 58. In some games away from Home against top teams changing the formation to four at the back with both Coutts and Norwood in deep lying midfield positions would be interesting. Coutts still has a way to go to get back to fitness and form. No need to rush him now.
What won't work is not playing with a No.10 with three at the back. The 3-5-1-1 formation that failed so miserably towards the end of last season and the first two games this season should be consigned to the dustbin. Yes it was Evans and Lundstram but with Fleck, Coutts and Norwood we would still lie too deep and not be able to press up the field like we did yesterday. Chances created would be at a minimum.
For now we've got two of the three midfield places covered. Still feel young Woodburn has something to offer covering for Duffy. What we don't have is a natural left footed replacement for Fleck as yesterday showed. Johnson may be an interesting option and so would Bryan. Its 46 games and we'll need a full squad of players that can seamlessly fit into any position as Norwood has finally proven in Coutts role.
