Well I'm not a true Geordie supporter. I'm a true Newcastle United football club supporter and fan.
I have no allegiance to people from Newcastle any more than I do to any other people, except for sitting or standing beside them at games.

That could very well be a massive deal with the devil. One that could be almost unrecoverable if the grass is not greener on the other side.
Or doesn't that matter as long as Ashley's simply gone?

    Not at all.
I'm not convinced of anything, with or without Rafa. It depends on who a new manager would be or it would depend on who a new owner would be.
None of us know whether the grass will be greener or not.

What I do know and know for sure is, I do not like the football we play. I think it's soul destroying and I would happily take relegation playing good football than struggling to stay in the premier league playing regular dire football that we seem to play right not.

Problem is we have a really week squad when Shelvey is missing we do not have another midfielder who can create anything. We have wingers with no real end product, Kennedy is probably the only player with any true ball skills but he runs himself into trouble of tries to beat too many men

Let’s see what the next half dozen games brings points wise but I would take a double relegation to get rid of Fatty and his hangers on.

    I'd never have guessed.

How many times have we come back from bad positions of adversity many times over the years? Many, many times.

This time it would be relatively easier because there would be such a resurgence of excitement and effort to prove the fat cockney slug an utter and complete failure that almost everyone would be pulling in the same direction to get us back up there to the top.

Granted we don't have any top 6 overall quality but we are more than a match against the rest if we play to the strengths of the players we have.

The missing players right now are decent quality, like Shelvey, Ritchie, Lejeune etc. We';re definitely capable of giving it a go against anyone but more than capable of getting a fair share of wins among the draws and losses by changing things up.

Rafa's playing it safe. Too safe.
It appears like a strategy to stop teams in their tracks but it doesn't work for too long before the players get thoroughly cheesed off with the negativity.

Anyone knows a team will thrive on a balanced game, taking the game to the opposition as and when the opportunity arises, as well as the defending and midfield terrier roles as and when required.

We definitely have the squad to give it a real go to finish inside the top 10 but not the way we're set up.
I know we read about players saying they like Rafa's way or trust it or whatever, but I'm not buying into that. I think it's just waffle.

However, if people enjoy this stuff or accept it for whatever reasons given, then fair enough. As for me....I despise it and I'm 100% certain we can do much much better..

    Time will tell on that.
