Made me laugh that one 😁

Very true, only players of Drogbas class can just about get a way with it,so players of the £200,000 class will struggle, over to you Paul.

Cant i have 5 and put gerry forrest in there as well you get two players for one then...a great full back and a good winger in one..i was talking to him in the tivoli after a testimonial game just before millmoor closed..he was with richard finney ronnie moore and terry curran i reminisced with him about him and tony towner destroying teams down the right wing..he said he enjoyed it as much as southampton..came across as a lovely quite bloke..

    Be careful, you'll upset MontyPython
Seriously though, we haven't had a right back as good as Gerry Forrest since he left us for the Saints.

You see I'd only go for Gerry Gow and Gerry Forrest out of those. In addition to those I would like Bobby Williamson and Kevin Watson.

I could pick a full team lol but here are my 4.

Gerry Forrest - 1st class right back who could both defend and attack with ease. Gerry is by a million miles the best attacking defender I have seen in Rotherham colours. Millers Legend!

Tiger Towner - What a fantastic feeling it was whenever Tiger was on the ball. For me he is the 2nd best player I have ever seen in Rotherham colours. Millers Legend!

Dave Whatson - Just how good was Dave Whatson? I have only 3 words to describe the greatest Rotherham player I have seen in my lifetime! Those 3 words are "65 ENGLAND CAPS" getting his first cap at the age of 27. He was also an FA Cup winner and a League Cup winner. No need to say anymore really. Millers Legend!

Ronnie Moore - What can I say about Ronnie as a player! 52 goals in 125 games for our great club. Millers Legend!

I've picked 4 players that have at least played second tier football.Hill and Watson in the first. The other 3 , long spells in the second. Less incentive in the 50's to move around, as tbere was a maximum wage, and the clubs held all thr power.
