Yes, that's ' Roy boy '.
The Sheffields were originally The Vampires and did a name change after they won a comp organised by Pete Stringfellow.
Pete S was their manager for a short time.
They released three records on the PYE label with Tony Hatch, one cover version was the R&B classic ' Got my Mojo back '
Sheffields also did backing for ' Little Walter & Memphis Slim somewhere around 1964.
Sheffields were also known as ' Frankenstein & Monsters backing singer Ray Stuart.
Some of the line up was...
Roy Ledger - Guitar
John Alexander - Vocals, harmonica, organ
Dave Fawcett - Bass Guitar
Richard Smith - Drums
Don Allison - Guitar
Brian Cooke - Guitar
Never saw them although my elder brother & elder sister did.
Eddie Cochran - Summertime Blues....another great track....and another one that died young in a car crash.
