Shame you think that about Brunt, but we all have our opinions. He's been at the club for 10 years and we've spent 8 of those in the Prem - and you could argue that has been our most succesful period in the last 35+ years...

In my opinion he's been a great servant to the club, he's a great influence in the dressing room and he's contributed to our success. He's not the player now that he was 5 years ago but he still has a lot to offer and we'll miss him when he retires. He should go down as a club legend in my eyes.

Don't get me wrong - I think Brunty has been fantastic for us and still can do a job, if played in the right position. Fact is, he's no CM player, has no pace, and that sweet left foot is rarely seen.

On 30 grand a week plus, any club/organisation does need to be ruthless - good servant or not!
