Cambodia is brilliant. Full of amazing nature and history - and unbelievably cheap. The average main course, with alcohol is about 4 Pounds. I went with my 9-year-old grandson. We stayed in a four room-apartment, with three bathrooms, and a beautiful swimming pool on the roof. The eight nights cost us 91 quid, including power and water.
The people are wonderfully friendly and welcoming too. The tuk-tuk system is fantastic. We hired one for a whole day for 11 pounds. Highly recommended.
Not a place I'd have ever thought of visiting, never heard of folk going there. Possibly more common on your side of the globe?
