I agree with you on the formation but against this WBA side I would go the 3 at the back route, overrun them in MF and run them ragged at the back.

Fozzy had, for me, his worst game of the season on Saturday, however, if we stay back 4 I'd pick him, midfield 5, Malone

Out wide, Wilson in a front 3. If we go 5 in MF then Lawrence and Mount either side of Hudds in the middle.

Bogle or Wisdom. In a back 4 Wisdom as Bogle has been below par in the last 2 games and we should remember he is but a young lad and would probably benefit from a rest. In a 5 then the defensive duties will be less to the fore and then I would think Bogle might be refreshed by the change.

Nuge or Waggy. In a front 3, neither of them will get in ahead of Marriott, IMO and I would not play either of them out wide. Front 2, which would be the best pairing? I would go with Nuge for the first hour or so, running himself into the ground and Waggy coming on with fresh legs for the last 25 to 30.

It's all about opinions and they will vary. We won't all agree all of the time. If we did, this forum would have folded years ago.
Funny how we agree that its the old stager Nugent who should run himself ragged...but all power to him

We obviously have an affinity with him

After the last 2 games, however, I can only see, barring injury, Marriott starting in the #9 role.

Marriot is a good buy, we were interested too or so we thought. I'm happy we went for Grabban, but Marriot is 1 for the future. I dunno if he'll score buckets for you this term but I believe next year, he'll do very well.
