Just got back from the shambles. We are disgraceful at the moment and I don't think DM is capable of turning it around. The first half was a non-event. Shocking, yet we went in ahead. Ironically from the old Pulis corner routine. Then we started to give the ball away time and time again and yet I personally thought Sako who was abysmal in the first half was starting to get to grips with the pace etc and was looking useful. So DM takes him off, no doubt his reason was he was showing tiredness. Well he didn't look anymore tired than he did in the first half to me. I believe it was our good fortune the keeper got carried off and they had to play out over 15 minutes with 10 men because I could see Blackburn snatching another goal. Then we get Brunty on in the middle again which the poor bloke cannot play, trying to thread balls though and finding a yellow shirt time and time again. Finally, with no goalkeeper and nine outfield players against us we never tested the non-keeper with shots from anywhere. There were a couple of scrambles but the Blackburn players defended like their lives depended on it. All in all it was a shocking inept performance the difference from Wednesday night being that Blackburn did not have the clinical finishing of Derby. Thank goodness.
