    Admittedly not one I personally remember, obviously, but ought to be mentioned as it pertains to Newcastle - Billy McCracken's offside trap, leading to a major change in the offside rule (can't have us winning things after all)

    Oh and the introduction of rules.

    On a serious note, the game changed quite a bit when teams like Barcelona were allowed to have more than 3 foreigners in their squad.

    Awarding the World cup to the USA,this was the definitive moment when they started fu cking with the off-side rules and haven't stopped since.If they reverted back to the old/simple rules,VAR would be a shoe in....
