I read that article earlier today. They reckon as many as 15 clubs are talking of Premier League 2 if the EFL don't improve TV monies to the clubs. They also don't like all the midweek games being available on the red button, saying it is affecting attendances.
This is how the Greed Is Good League started in '92. If this goes ahead I can see the odd game starting at 3 in the morning, or something equally daft, as that is the best time for Far Eastern TV audiences .........
Complete and utter madness. IMO.
Ah yes but if the new league excludes QPR, I'm all for it
Got nothing to do with the red button
It’s about time they bought ticket prices down.
I took a friend to villa match on Saturday for £20 full price should have been £39
Sheffield Wednesday away £36
Mate is a season ticket holder at Birmingham and he pays £300 for adult season ticket
And they wonder why there’s empty seats
Anyone have the same problems me in that if you try to view this post on a mobule it returns "Invalid Post Specified.....please notify the administrator" and when I try to do that it says "We are sorry this content is not supported....".
It only does this on this thread? Perhaps by coincidence this is the only one started by Footymad Admin
No idea what my tickets for the Red Dogs game will be apart from over £30 and, hopefuly, under £40.
As of Feb 24th next year I qualify for cheapies
I've just paid £72 for the Wendies and really i suppose when I can watch it for free on the red button but it's not the same as being there
