We are a pretty special club nowadays. We needed help from a new owner and the council, and I suspect that we are like most other FL clubs in that without ongoing help from TS we would make a bit of a loss.

But aside from that, the owner is from the local area, he runs an honourable and practically useful business, we have a stadium in the town centre which is well used but not over-corporate, we have a thoughtful intelligent decent and balanced manager, and a squad full of hard working and decent blokes who seem aware of things other than football but that nonetheless improve as players and collectively, so we are more than the sum of our parts. We have a different method of achieveing success to most. If we were more famous we might be the sort of team that other fans would pick as a second team. It’s great!

Well said, and on top of all that, we're a second tier club. Just let that sink in, we ply our trade in what is generally regarded as the fifth "biggest" league (division) in the world!

This really shows just how level headed this young man is. He shows great maturity beyond his years, compassionate and a total humanitarian with his Bluebell Wood Hospice work.

Spot on. And, he also paid to play for Falkirk. Shows true character and self belief. One on many good people at our club just now.
