In my view - there is a difference. Battering an old lady who can't defend herself is far worse than a young lad trying to have a go at a strong 6 foot rugby player who could easily defend himself. Any violence is sickening but how this Gareth Thomas incident gets on the news makes you sick. Nobody cares if someone comes out!!! I would cheer a gay centre forward for us like any player if he was good on the pitch. What I would not support is the fact that someone is coming out gets rammed down your throats and the pathetic rainbow laces. In fact, if our players wear rainbow laces, I would miss the match in protest.

On another note - lets hope we don't play like pansies on Friday
