Signaltex at the pound shop.
I have been reliably informed that there is no difference in quality between a cheap HDMI cable and an expensive one.
What is the best place in Rotherham....I will include Meadowall, to buy a cheap cable?
Signaltex at the pound shop.
which pound shop?
are they reliable cables?
are they 1.4 version or higher?
Much obliged.
HDMI Cable 1m Version 1.4 - 19-pin Male to Male for connection between two HDMI devices. Ideal for set-top boxes, DVD players and games consoles.
Pound shop near Superdrug.
Yes they are reliable.
You've been told a load of gonads IBS
According to ones son (Computer Technician) you only loose quality of signal if the cable is over a certain length (which escapes me now)
Anything at 1 - 2 m long then a cheapo HDMI functions as good as an expensive one
I've had loads of experiences which tell me otherwise, but if saving a couple of quid is important then go for it mate.
I got my info from this article sota.

Sorry IBS I was referring to ‘cheap’ cables which are junk. I agree that the more expensive ones are not worth the extra.
