Sorry Chick, should have been clearer it was not Edge I was having a go at. The whole performance was bad against Alloa, but one of the common factors is King, he just looks clueless and players like Aird flatter to deceive. I think Csaba bought he and Clark more to weaken Dunfermline rather than for their quality, because I think neither are good enough! A couple of good wingers that can feed Safranko and we might just have a chance. I think needs to make a statement a drop a couple of players.

Thanks Chic appreciated and apologies for jumping to conclusions
Edge was beyond brutal and should never start when Frans is there available
Edge may have been but there were many out there in Tangerine shirts masquerading as footballers! Therefore he cannot be held solely responsible. King, Aird, our so called attacking threat utter garbage even Fyvie was way off pace!
Fyvie and pace should never be used in the same sentence. Does he ever look fit?
Utter horrific last night. In January we must sign a right back, centre mid and an attacking midfielder and punt the dross like Loemba, Barton and Matty smith.
This is the same Ayr team as last season - Shankland, Moffat, Geggan etc were all playing for Ayr last season - yet Arbroath managed to beat them twice last season in the league and also draw with them, Ayr only one their league by one point above Raith.
So whats my point ?
My point is only about 4 - 5 of the United players would get into Arbroath's or Raith's starting 11 - the rest would struggle for a seat on the bench.
Neilson needs to move these players out of Tannadice, but no other team are going to offer these players the same wages, so it won't be easy shipping them out.
Last night McCall had better tactics than Neilson. At half time United were unable to sort out a counter plan of action - it went from bad to worse.
United played like an amateurish, incompetent team and were a discredit to the history of the club.
No words can fully explain the shame, lack of fight and lack of counter tactics - and no excuses will be accepted either.
Neilson is a good manager, I am confident in time he will sort out this mess, but last night McCall had the better tactics .
Shipping 3 goals last week to Alloa was a warning sign that went unnoticed.
