Not an exciting team to watch. No creative or finishing ability except GMS, who’s injured of course. Wilson looks as if he thinks he’s above this division but he’s not even good enough for it on his showings thus far ... he mentioned that this was a stepping stone to something better but it’s likely to be one to oblivion. No one looks as if they could go on a scoring run and this is close to mid-season! It’s essential that good signings are made in January and that the numerous duds are shipped out. Losing interest fast.
"We did very well to get beat by a team "a class above" us.
87kilos is awfully quiet again tonight, his drum will be getting a rest."
I can’t remember but weren’t some of the pro Aberdna folk saying all of the money wouldn’t be spent last summer and would only kick in properly next year?
Someone will have to remind me as well but didn’t we lose at least 10 players in the summer and signed about 8?
Probably just end up being more money that disappears at Pittodrie and is never spoken about again.
Didn't think he was any more sh1te than anyone else
3 men in central defensive midfield? Ferguson as a false number 10?
McLennon and Wright were poor, poor. As was May. Did Anderson touch the ball, other than the overhead effort?
Pass marks to Lowe.
Oh, and once again, Shinnie's is a left back, nae a central midfielder
^^^Spot on^^^
The likes of Ball, Shinnie & Ferguson are good when we’re on the back foot soaking up pressure, breaking up play and looking to hit on the break - like the last 2 games.
Once we need to be on the front foot, dictate play & create, then they are simply not good enough to get forward quickly, pick the right passes and create chances.
Yes our “strikers” are poor, but they are getting zero help and service from elsewhere. Lowe (only pass mark today) created more than the rest combined.
May needs to go out on loan, the guy offers zero goal threat and is a waste of a shirt as an alleged striker. Not alone there though. At least he puts in a shift but it’s not enough.
That has just totally undone all the positivity from midweek. There really is little point winning at Mordor if you can’t take care of the bread and butter games too.
Still, at least it’s not papering over the cracks - we’re seventh, the table doesn’t lie and seventh is about right for that team which is not acceptable to any Dons fan surely...
