Our backing for the Newco vote put a few noses out of joint which was around 6 / 7 years ago.

i also know a few that dont like our stewrdship ie the chairman for whatever reasons thay have ,possibly him backing the newco and what happened with the jt saga ,also there has been a couple of price increases since our promotion year ,plus a smoking ban ,all of these factors rolled up explains our drop off in crowds ,for every decision made theres always a negative factor and bit by bit the crowds have dwindled away .

Give over with the smoking ban. I'm sure someone can last 90 minutes without a smoke for goodness sake. You may as well throw the 5p charge for a plastic bag into your reasons people arent attending.

As a Palmerston regular I can’t name one person who doesn’t go because of the “newco vote”

well for a start theres a group of old guys and there sons that used to stand near the floodlights that havnt been seen in palmerston since the smoking ban ,and i also know a few people who used to attend every match at palmy that have never stepped foot back in palmy since the newco vote ,now its been a while since that vote but these people have obviously found other things to do on saturdays ,so these things have took some of the attendances for sure ,how many more have done the same i dont know but there is people thats took those things to heart .

This story has played out exactly as I said it would Spike. Player in question 'plays' up , engineering a move to a central belt club where he will get more money. Lets forget about this journeyman now. Has ability certainly but I'm struggling to think of many stand out moments bar the wonder strike v Ayr.

I agree 100% JR. Time to move on and forget about him.

Heaven knows, we might even play someone who is determined to get a game for us.
