Would anyone really throw £millions at a club who struggle to get 8000 of their own fans in for home games? This time last year we all wanted Kiefer Moore and despaired when we ended up with some lump who couldn't get a game at struggling Bury.
And look where we are now, a division higher with our destiny in our own hands.
I agree that the team needs strengthening but if you think we'll be spending big money, you'll be disappointed. Be grateful for what we have, it could be so much worse. Chesterfield, for example.
Great post Hazza. The question should be "Will the Rotherham public show their vrue colours". A Millers crowd of below 8k to watch WBA is laughable.

The novelty of the new stadium has gone and the club needs to add something more for the fans.

I'd start with the food, pie or sausage roll is not much of a choice.

What about burgers, chips, sandwiches, fish and chips, pork pies, jacket potatoes, cornish pasties, noodle boxes, pizza?

That’s why we eat more pies than any other club but we don’t get much choice.
Pizza fingers are in family (if they still do them)
I mentioned soup and jackets to the club especially in winter months but clearly the contract caterers ain’t bothered

Signing Championship standard players, winning a few games, not playing 4-5-1 at home against this league's worst teams... worth trying?

That sounds more like it Mike
I'd also add a mid table position instead if the perennial struggle against the drop

A couple of loans if we're lucky I reckon.
Nothing was spent on transfer fees in August so why should things change in January?
The first half of the season has been quite enjoyable apart from a few recent games so I hope the second half doesn't turn out to be like the last time we were in the Championship just because the squad doesn't get strengthened.
TS said lessons had been learned from previous experiences in this division.
We are about to find out if that's really the case.
