Had he responded I'd feel more confident about raising the issue of the SE access with him.

I believe our SLO is (or was) also on the DSA committee so maybe you have to be a member of an affiliated club to receive the courtesy of a response, I'm just not sure how it works.
Not replying to email must be a DFC thing, I’ve email Nelms twice and Keyes once, because that’s what people tell you to do, both pleasant enough emails, but no reply, Keyes has a strange email by the way, you go through a company

It's unprofessional and unacceptable. I personally would never fail to respond to an email from a customer, even if it's just to acknowledge that I've received it.

Thought you knew the reason, hence the reason you were defending the policy so strongly...?

Wonder if Glasgow council ever threatened to shut down parts of Parkhead with the behaviour of the Green Brigade...? Doubt it.

Think it was DFC themselves that imposed the ticket only policy in the Derry.

I'm not defending it strongly, I've always said it has to be supported because the option was to close the stand - massive difference. I know the reasons and have explained many times to you why I accepted the decision. If you choose to believe that it was the club that imposed the ticket only policy then fair enough it's futile me arguing the point as you've made up your mind. I've moved on, time you did too.

Couldn't care less about Glasgow Council. Nor Dundee Council for that matter if I'm being honest.

Your question about how it is safer to enter the SE by a ticket rather than cash is precisely the point. It could be that there were considerable numbers of fans queuing on Dens Road to get in and this is the reason for the safety element. It will be quicker getting fans through the gates by ticket rather than taking money. I am convinced that the ticket only access for the SE is part of the way it has to be operated to comply with the licence. You are entitled to your opinion but the point is we agree that it would be better for PATG fans to have direct access to the SE. I think there should be questions asked by fans and in particular the bodies that represent them to see if the licence conditions could be altered to allow a PATG turnstile to be operated for the SE.

There has been consistent comment about the loss of supporters going into the SE. The club will be aware of the dropping numbers and I would hope that if there was a campaign to have the conditions reviewed, then at the very least the board could ask the question of the authorities. Give it a trial period, but give it a go.
I believe there was flak when you were involved I've never disputed that and I think to a certain degree it bothered you and Bobba BUT I always thought I was open to have my mind changed and it did for a short period.

I thought you meant flak now which I hardly ever give them apart from passing comment as I find them a bit of an irrelevance (sorry b cram).

This is why most of my ire is directed at most respected and Nelms, really pointless directing it at the "fans groups".

I'm not a member of any club, Jdfc can speak for himself cause I'm no sure if their club is affiliated or not.

The issue won't go away Deeranged as like me I think your highly sceptical about this new stadium.

We have the worst atmosphere of any top level club maybe bar Hamilton and nobody seems to give two ****s.
Think the club will be worried about this and some form of victory for the board in getting PATG for the SE, is exactly the sort of listening that would help to get more people coming to games and watching from the SE.

j i can assure you that under the clubs present guise that it wouldnt matter if you had 1000 fans offering their help, the club wouldnt listen,i know from past experience where people have offered to spruce the old lady up a bit and no uptake has happened, pretty sure the old and trusted h+s excuse gets hauled oot.

il tell you what if i was John Bennett then id be invoking a notice to the tennents to get the property tidied up,im pretty sure the club have a duty to do that,as it is from the old stairs and the brickwork at the bottom its an eyesore at best and a safety issue in progress, make no mistake about that.
    absolute foookin disgrace

    100% agree.

It's a disgrace that's been on going for two to three decades.

Think about it this for a minute.

If you were most respected what you not do a general tidy up and put they ****ing hoses away just to take the heat off a bit?

There's an air of arrogance about this, **** them let them look at the hoses, let them wade thru ****, let's have opposition fans take the piss.....It's not affecting the posher seats....**** them.

Two off field things you cud hammer the Americans for, match day experience and neglect of the stadium.

I'll reiterate an immediate difference cud be made with a days work a shed and a couple of skips......It's not tens of thousands of ££££s
