Big chap you go on about a lack of ambition in the club and moan about loans . Can't have it both ways. Lowe and Stewart both excellent acquisitions. This is the market we have to operate in. Neither are loans from Celtic so can play against them. The Huns have at least two or three good quality losns. Kent and Coulibay both good players. If ever there was a season to go all out for the league this is feckin it. Coyr !!!!!
Not sure how this works for Birmingham . But it must be something to do with their Transfer Embargo/Limitations ?
Stewart probably feels entitled to getting his bigger English wages till the end of the season, while if he was sold he got less of it ?
Sure suits Aberdeen . Does look a bit iffy . If I was a Killie fan i`s be raging !!
Now, lets play him through the middle !!!
It's a gamble for us though. Why not just pay the little bit of money and sign him permanently? What if he has a stormer for the next 6 months and the same thing happens to us as has just happened to Kilmarnock. Another English Championship side might move in for him, or Rangers or Celtic will match his Championship wages and he'll go there instead.
How do you know the sums involved ?
(clue- you don't, nor do I or any of the other fans)
And how do you know that Stewart himself is wanting to commit to a permanent deal with us ? He might well be , but maybe he's using this loan to put himself in the shop window and keepin his options open for a move to a bigger/wealthier club than us
Maybe it was the plastic pitch?
Why bother ?
I thought one thing that just about all Dons fans were agreed on , was that we were desperately lacking some attacking flair and creativity ....or a Number 10 to use the current terminology.
Getting Stewart in for the rest of the season is at the very least a decent chance of being a short-term solution to that problem available within our budget
Stewart should be like a new signing. A good bit of business. Will McInnes be able to get the best out of him though?
Reckon GMS will be off now.
