This is the problem with Scottish football, everyone plays the same way.
Clarke’s came up here to sit back looking for a draw, something which McInnes gets slated for if he ever does it.
Maybe when McInnes does eventually move on we should try another foreign manager because Scottish managers are all the same.
What’s the story with McLennan anyway?
He wasn’t even on the bench again.
Yep.
You could swap Derek McInnes for Jim McIntyre & it’d be weeks before anyone noticed. When you go to the same place to learn the same stuff off the same people, you’ll get the same results. Unfortunately for everyone in Scottish football, the coaching manual was written by a boring b’stard
I agree with you and Don Corleone. We really should just stop this whole approach of playing players where it doesn’t suit them and simply improve our forward play by using 2 proper wingers (preferably McGinn and McLennan) and 2 strikers up front. It’s when McInnes mucks about with this simple approach that we lose ground.
Aye, other than a couple of wee flicks, GMS looked miles off the pace today. Same as Wednesday night really.
To be fair to him though, the Kili full backs are very decent by Scottish Prem standards. Although you would still expect him to get the better of at least one of them a couple of times.
