On butcher, he had become a key player imo, was excellent in the 6-2 derby, Motherwell away in the cup, the semi final, I've always thought had him and Fojut stayed 15/16 would not have resulted in relegation, those leaving in the summer along with the obvious in January meant we were decimated to the excellent team we had been

That team had a mix of everything really and what a record we had at the end of January

Hope he is coming back

I wouldn't have Butcher back. A limited player who was a liability as a CH so moved to midfield and done just OK in a few games.

If we are going to get better as a team we should be signing players of a much higher calibre than an ok defensive midfielder........FFS another centre mid......our midfield IMO is the biggest problem but how many do we have to sign?

Butcher is better than our level and would add steel and legs too

Him and Harkes would be interesting to see together in the middle

I would honestly prefer writing off this season and starting anew next season than signing 9 new average/or slightly better than we have players(while offloading the dross) in a desperate attempt to get up at any cost.

It is but king gone aird going and fyvie and stanton need dropped. Mcmullan pish too so whats the issue? Exactly what we need. Not happening apparently due to wages. But exactly what we need imho

Dont agree but he isnt coming on the offer we gave him. CM he could do a better job than fyvie or stanton

Game changers in this divison are speed and agression and stephen dobbie/ ****land so a battler a winger and striker.
