This has been a better window than I think most people expected, if Doyle comes too I don't think there's a lot more we could have hoped for, other than Ryan Yates I suppose.

An experienced centre back would have been nice too but I guess we'll see how good Stubbs is or whether having a different keeper behind them improves the defenders we've already got.

Age is immaterial to me. David Needham, Brian Stubbs, Pedro Richards were 19 when they established themselves in the first team. Brian Kilcline and Dean Yates were 18. If you’re good enough, you’re old enough.
