Report from Evening Standard "London will lose up to £700 billion to financial rival Frankfurt by the end of March as banks flee the UK ahead of Brexit, a lobby group has claimed.

At least 30 banks and financial firms are set to move their EU headquarters to Germany, according to lobby group Frankfurt Main Finance."

A lot of bankers are foreigners.

Americans, French, Italian.

They'd move to Berlin but not Frankfurt.

Germans need to move their financial centre to grab that action.

Got distracted earlier today. I was going to show the Frankfurt Main Finance report published the middle of last year predicting a shift out of London.

Then a more recent report by Reuters dated Dec 18 detailing actual plans of 31 major banks. Saving you reading it, all but a couple are moving major chunks of their operation out of London.
