How can I resist when you ask so nicely.

My understanding is that the sum is to be paid in installments over a number of years (about ten billion a year, I think, but I haven't checked).

The money will be raised in much the same way as other forms of public spending - a mixture of tax and borrowing. If we don't end up paying it, the government could either cut the size of the budget deficit or spend the tax receipts on other forms of spending.

In reality, a no deal Brexit is likely to reduce the growth of the economy or cause a recession, in which case the sum available is likely to be lower than the thirty nine billion.

Cameron led the Remain campaign and lost. He could not have stayed on.

Seriously, there will not be a surplus £38bn if we leave without a deal. Hope youre not planning on adding it to £350m a week?

Would you say that Remainers who always take the side of the EU even when the EU is wrong are traitors and should perhaps move to an EU country?

Personally I would like it to be in those empty Slovak gypsy villages, which the inhabitants of Ferham and Page Hall left abandoned, because they're getting on my last nerve now.

He was an imperialist as were nearly all of his generation including, in all likelihood, our ancestors. It not helpful to judge people from the past who did nothing more than buy into the world in which they were born and in which they were educated.

What makes you think Germany is going to leave the EU?

    Second biggest.

Although we never benefited from it to the extent Germany does.

Third option, they could use the planned revenue to cut taxes, so as to encourage businesses to remain in a non-EU UK and to support employment and economic activity.
