Let’s just pray he does not play on Saturday together with Brunt and Johnstone. Let’s.have guesses on the first sub for Saturday so here goes.

Losing one nil so Gayle comes off for Bartley!

He wouldn’t be playing for us!
Lol, Unfortunately Mick there are players who work their socks off hold the ball up well get loads of free kicks in tasty areas......but dont score much. Kanu is one of those players.

He doesn't hold the ball up it bounces off him and he falls over.

M A Fortune is the player you're describing not Kanu.

HRK doesn't get us loads of free kicks in tasty areas though boingy, he falls over then splays his arms out wide in mock astonishment as the game continues without him.

While some of the criticism directed towards HRK is harsh the simple fact is he doesn't deliver enough to justify a regular starting spot. Team player who does more off the ball than some appear to realise/acknowledge and perhaps better than others suggest, but he's a squad member at best for me.

Talking of free kicks in tasty areas, having traveled to Exeter to witness his 'performance' against City in last season's FA Cup I wouldn't have minded giving him one of those; he was absolutely w@nk .

Pray he's not in the side on Saturday or against the Vile!
I thought he was doing OK against Brighton and was a useful foil for Rodriguez, he also brought Hoolahan into the game well. As stated though he wouldn't be a regular starter for me either given the choice. Here's hoping the lad Murphy can step into the Barnes role while Gayle partners Rodriguez. That or scrap the current system and have a look at something else. Team player and trier though he is when HRK becomes your 'go to' because he suits the system, it might be time to have a look at the system and try something else for a while.

An excellent bit of technique to be fair to him BMG.

I realise that the game is all about opinions and I seem to be 'out on a limb' on this but it's how I see it. I also thought that he had a decent game against Middlesbrough. With everyone available, no, he wouldn't get into the starting eleven but he doesn't deserve the abuse that he gets.
He did have a decent game against Brighton. I think much of the criticism for HRK is born of frustration that the club haven't replaced him with better given the resources available.

However that isn't his fault and he certainly gets more backing and encouragement at games both home and away than he does on here. And no, I don't think he deserves the level of abuse he gets on Baggies Banter either. Still, each to their own.

Don't get me started on Kyle 'Brain Fart' Bartley though .

Whicka, you are totally wrong mate. He does exactly what I've said. If you don't like the guy that's fine, but l Know why Moore plays him. He is useful.
