Im increasingly thinking he’ll sign on.
If what you say is true, then the club is doing all it can

Me too. One of the few pre/post Gothenburg players who i think might have got into that team. Never anything less than his absolute max given in AFC colours.

Here’s a good one for you to decide...Graeme Shinnie or Jim Bett?

Not a fair comparison RJ. Completely different kinds of player. Bett could play pinpoint 20-30 yard passes that most players could only dream of. One of the best AFC players to watch i've ever seen (when he could be @rsed).However, Shinnie puts more effort into one game than Bett put into an entire season.

As said elsewhere they are totally different players but for me Jim Bett every day, imagine if we had his skills in our current team. He couldn't half take a good penalty as well

Rubbish, he would have been nowhere near that team.

Agree...either posters never saw that era on those who did brains have been dulled with illegal drugs or drink over the years ( maybe both )....Shinnie is a great player but far from that level of the Gothenburg team

Of course Shinnie wouldn’t have got into the Gothenburg team, that doesn’t mean he isn’t or hasn’t been a good player for us.

We really shouldn’t be comparing players to that team,it’s just like pissing in the wind.
