    Such a p I s s poor division.

Unbelievable that we are still so far clear of the chasing pack.

You watch the Vile sneak in and beat us in the play offs!

Funny that Mick. My son said half an hour ago that Vile would sneak in to 6th place and beat us in a play off. The league is piss poor compared to last year with Wolves, Fulham and Cardiff. Then again we are piss poor with a delinquent in charge of us. So so pissed off with last night and had to sit next to all those horrible one eyed supporters!!! A few pints in the Peacock was enough then coming into the ground getting in and seeing those feckers score after 17 seconds - that took the biscuit! Was half hoping the nutter on the pitch was going to knock some sense into DM!!

Mick the teams up & around us i wouldn't fancy playing any of them in a home away game & be confident of getting through to final stage , with our defence our manager & like i have said before its only my opinion i don't think we will go up , i think we've missed boat , we wanted to do a Wolves on it & win the league hands down but we've ended more like Walsall ,

Surely it wasn’t any better last season. Wolves were good but Fulham and Cardiff weren’t any better than teams in the top 4 this season in my opinion. Boro are more or less where they were last season as are a lot of the sides just below the top 6.

It has become harder for teams relegated to go straight back and you only have to look at where the likes of Swansea and Stoke are who you could argue they were better sides than us last year.

Can’t see this as any different to most Championship years. Piss poor I agree, highly competitive and difficult to get out of though.

I agree Mick, we are in the top four in spite of Moore not because of him. Imagine where we would be if he didn't play the most prolific championship striker on the wing, and played an orthodox left back at left back instead of a right sided player.
We migt have still been in the cup had he not replaced the centre forward with a centre half and then replaced the same centre half for another centre half, and used all the subs knowing the game might go into extra time.
That is not learning the ropes.
That is just plain feckin dumb.

Perhaps a picture to DM showing Norwich 9 points clear, Leeds 7 points clear and a big feckin X next to Gayles name on the wing. You never know it could sink in before we travel to Derby - away theme as ‘ undertakers’ this year!

Yes it might be a poor division if your used to spending good time in the Prem Mick, but its a highly competitive division thats getting harder to stay in if you havent got the finances etc. And having said that, its a division that we and several others are still desperate to get back into.

Nahh Albert lol, I'll probably be working that day.
Did any of you see us live on Sky sports yesterday daarn at Saarfend, its a 3 or 4 way mash up now between Luton, us, Sunderland, and maybe Portsmouth still.
And in fairness to those 3 clubs, they used to be regulars in the original First Division didnt they along with yourselves.

I agree. Your last line is right on, the beauty about this division is any team is capable of beating any team....for no apparent reason!! I think the genuine week in, week out football fans secretly enjoy this, although we all want a win.
The officiating isn't up to much from what I've seen, that could do with looking at. We (LUFC) have been down here far too long.....some reasons we all know full well......money! and we just wasn't good enough. We seem to have it right at last, promotion seems doable.....maybe!! The whole glitter of the prem is what most want, but behind the glitter is the old beast......money, we have to buy our safety or success, not something what happens in these lower leagues.....to a degree, playing football for the pure enjoyment of playing football, how novel! Just to finish btw we all get caught up in it.
You have a great chance of being in the mix, as much as any of the top ten, I hope you make it, behind us of course!
