    FPS lied.

Why would FPS want to give DFCSS £140k for something that belongs to the fans, when they can hand it to the manager to sign a couple of players, DFCSS get hold of that cash you’ll never see it again

That’s why it should be a share issue IMO, club gets 140k, FPS pay fair share and the shares purchased by the fans remain as is

good to read your input dayster.can you imagine for instance, steve martins response if the yanks had offered the same offer for his shares as they did the SS

im still bewildered as to the fps moving for the A shares the last time, and also their unprofessional release of the details of their offer to the ss this week.before the ss could even have had a chance to talk about it.

what are they trying to acheive by that? are they trying to cause division between the fans?a cheap shot at the amount of ss members also, something absolutely stinks as far as im concerned,

thank fffkkkkk the SS have the A shares

im a lapsed member of the SS but would happily pay £25 to rejoin never mind £5 if it meant that the A shares remained forever,as i said something about this stinks

Whoever brought up the A shares, DFCSS were willing to sell if they got the money for themselves. FPS did ask to buy ordinary shares back in 2017 so I'm sure DFCSS don't need much further discussion, especially as they have no intention of helping FPS with anything these days.

Who pays for the share issue, the club?

It depends which club you mean.
There is Dundee Football Club (Dundee FC) and there is Dundee Football Club Limited who is a Company registered at Companies House.
Dundee Football Club Limited is a private Company with an authorised share capital of 200 Hundred Million shares at 1p each. Shares in Dundee Football Club Limited cannot be purchased on the open market. All the 200 Hundred Million shares have been issued and if anyone wished to purchase shares in Dundee Football Club Limited they would have to persuade an existing shareholder to sell their shares.
I hope that this explains things to you.
Alternatively if you log onto the Official Club website look under ‘Club’ and click on Shareholders FAQS the information is available for all to read.

So is there another shareholder who has enough shares to take them over 75%?

New shares can be issued but would cost DFC Ltd/FPS a fair whack to do so, which they obviously want to avoid. DFCSS only need these shares if they have ambitions to takeover the club in the future
