Now its about momentum for 4 weeks and going to hampdung on a decent run of results

    Livi H
    Hearts A
    Motherwell H
    Dundee A

No reason why that shouldn't be 12 points
I'm not suggesting it's likely, but it is still within the realms of possibility that we could catch Rangers for second. If we can find that consistency at home which has eluded us recently and go on a run of wins that we've shown we're capable of in the past, and Rangers implode (which is always possible and always funny) - 8 points isn't an impossibility to overturn. We beat them in the remaining game against them that's it down to 5 - only a couple of wins difference. They may well drop points against Kilmarnock this weekend, so if we can win and cut their lead to 5 they'll start feeling the pressure. Bad memories for Slippy G.

I'd be happy if we only won two more games this season

Sevco are pish yet we still trail by 8 points in the league. Beating them in a cup is great but being pumped 4-2 with 6 defenders on the pitch at home is not.

Look at his lack of silverware in a time where Scottish football was poor. Especially celtic. That fear. (look at the teams that managed to win cups out with celtic, we were better than them all)

You know fine what im talking about.

Well done on last night and this week as anything at parkhead under him is a good result. He definitely made me think, "see you c@nt, you can do it when you want" but as I said it better not be a flash in the pan and we sh@t the bed in the semi or get beat by Motherwell on Saturday

McInnes may be winning a few points he still has a lot to do
That's my point though, you say you hope they have gotten over the dear, but it was the same formation and same tactics used against the cheeks in the last week that many have slated him for in the past.

I see no difference in set-up or tactics, just we were more successful in applying the plan.

Maybe the fear was just actually our defence being sh@te.

(excuse the use of Old Firm, its nicked from BBC sport)

A bit bamboozling as we have defended criminally on many occasions (there is a massive lowlights reel of defending this season) But seemed to up our game and have kept the Glasgow gruesomes out more than usual

We are improving where we were sh@te before and making an arse of the games w would have won before

We are not as creative as before.
We miss a McLean or a Christie.

We also do not have as much pace in the side as we have had in the past.

So we struggle to break down so called lesser teams, yet can capitalise when teams come out at us.
This explains also why we are better away from home than at home.

I pretty much agree with AFC1903 regarding set up and tactics. They really haven't been that much different in the the last 2 games than they have been in a number of previous games versus Pigs and Huns. The main difference in the last two games is that there have been no outrageous individual errors nor any outrageous refereeing decisions.

There is a difference . Hes lining up with a better balance of defensive minded players to attacking minded players. Hes getting results with the more attacking players

Examples, pumped by sevco 4-2, 6 defensive and 4 attacking players, drew 1-1 with them 5 defensive and 5 attacking and were the better team, beat them 2-0, 5 and 5 again

    Celtic is similar stats

Maybe hes finally realizing that being more attack minded is the way to go

Who’s the attacking change your referring to?
Ferguson was pushed forward into the hole and many have counted him as a defensive player.

Who’s your 5 attackers from last night?
    May, McGinn, McLennan, then who??

Could also look back to the Celtic game?
Who was your 5 attackers? Wilson was a waste and then changed out with Campbell.

Also, being more attack minded. Really??? We sat in and hit on the counter. Many times 11 behind the ball.
We had 3 shots on target. Hardly attack minded.

We contained and pressed at the right times.
It was a good defensive display and we then were clinical with our chances.
Not sure what game you watched / saw the highlights from.

What im getting at is he has started games with 6 defenders on the pitch v sevco and the pigs up until recently(including shinnie who is a defender by trade). Even at home he has done it

He doesn't seem to be doing that now. Which seems to have had positive effects

Dinna get all uppity as always. F@ck sake im trying to give the c@nt credit on a good run of results v the two horrible establishments from Glasgow yet you still have to get on your high horse
